When we started Totally Spain in 2000, we were planning lots of “once-in-a-lifetime” trips to Spain and our job was to make sure that all the “must-sees” were included on each itinerary. So much has changed since then. It’s now so easy to fly into smaller regional airports in Spain and thus many of our clients are actively looking to avoid the “must-see” sights in exchange for something much more personal and fresh. Bridges in Spain – 12 of the Best!
Spurred on by the re-opening of the vertigo-inducing Caminito del Rey walking route complete with bridge, we’ve decided here at Totally Spain to pull together our favourite Spanish ‘puentes’ or bridges in Spain. We’ve got a bit of everything in here – Roman bridges, foot bridges, hanging bridges, toll bridges, bridges designed by starchitects and bridges that just have great personality or meaning.
