We’ve just come off the phone from a client who was asking us what to pack for Spain. It’s something we are often asked – usually with the subtext of how the person can avoid looking like a tourist. While we don’t think that everybody should look the same (how boring would that be!) here’s our advice on what to wear in Spain with our insider Do’s & Don’t to consider when packing. Living and working in Spain as we do (Totally Spain is Spain-based travel agent and specialist in custom travel to Spain since 2000), we speak from experience.
We love Madrid’s Golden Triangle of museums – the Prado Museum, the Reina Sofia Museum and the Thyssen Bornemizsa Museum – which are among the top museums in the world. But we also highly recommend some of the smaller, more unusual niche or special interest museums in the capital for their content, their architecture, their slower pace and charm.
Planning your Spain vacation but can’t decide what to visit? We have rounded up the best videos of Spain’s top 10 most visited monuments and attractions to tempt you. Because if a picture paints a thousand words, then a great video with a moving soundtrack, does that and so much more. And that might help you decide the types of monuments and museums you want to include in your trip!
