Did you know that Joe Strummer, former frontman of The Clash who passed away in 2002, was honoured in the Andalusian city of Granada, Spain in May 2013 with his own small square – the Placeta Joe Strummer? This followed a campaign by locals on Facebook which reached officials at City Hall some of whom turned out to be fans.
We meet some interesting people in our line of business and we’ve asked a few of these colourful characters to guestblog for us over the coming months. Totally Spain is delighted to have been approached a few weeks ago for sponsorship by a dynamic theatre company Tangram Theatre in London. We have since grown fond of these guys and their work and we’re looking forward to seeing their production of Lope de Vega’s Fuente Ovejuna in London this summer. They have a great track record and it’s some story!
