We’ve been designing custom itineraries of Spain and Portugal for 18 years and in that time here at Totally Spain we must have had thousands of clients visiting the Alhambra in Granada in Andalusia which is one of the most magical sights to experience in this part of the world. Over the years, we’ve garnered a lot of know-how and here is our best advice for visiting Spain’s most famous UNESCO-listed treasure.
When most of us travel, we want to visit the ‘must-sees’ but we also want to hang out with locals doing non touristy things. It’s hard to strike a balance, so when we plan custom trips for Totally Spain clients (and we’ve been doing this since the year 2000), in addition to highlighting top attractions, we recommend many non touristy things to do in Spain so clients can get a sense of the Spain that we know and love.
Not only does food and drink taste amazingly good in Spain but it looks so enticing too! Gastronomic traditions are respected here and great thought often goes in to the appearance, ceremony and overall presentation of food. Catering professionals can spend years learning the necessary skills that we often take for granted so we thought we’d highlight just some of the artistry that we appreciate in Spanish Gastronomy and have been enjoying along with our clients since we set up Totally Spain in the year 2000.
