Over 50s Travel in Spain & Portugal

After 19 years designing custom trips to Spain and Portugal, we can honestly say that a huge, huge portion of our Totally Spain valued clients are what the industry calls baby boomers.  Yes, those people born in the US between 1946 and 1964. We really enjoy working with these experienced, mature travelers and, for that reason we thought, why not say something about it? So, in no particular order, here are 8 reasons why we love working with baby boomers and why baby boomers love Spain and Portugal and working with Totally Spain.

Totally Spain’s Guide to Significant Jewish Heritage Sights in Portugal

We’ve written recently about Spain’s Jewish heritage and today we’d like to highlight some of the more significant Jewish sights in Portugal where you can step back in time and get a sense of how this vibrant community lived and worked. We start in the capital, Lisbon, and tour nine locations before finishing up in Porto. Bridges in Spain – 12 of the Best!

Spurred on by the re-opening of the vertigo-inducing Caminito del Rey walking route complete with bridge, we’ve decided here at Totally Spain to pull together our favourite Spanish ‘puentes’ or bridges in Spain. We’ve got a bit of everything in here – Roman bridges, foot bridges, hanging bridges, toll bridges, bridges designed by starchitects and bridges that just have great personality or meaning. Some we’ve crossed this year – others we’re not sure we’ll ever cross (would that be the Caminito??) but they are all spectacular in their own special way.
