We’ve been designing custom trips around Northern Spain ever since Totally Spain started out back in the year 2000. You might not know but we initially set up our business in Vitoria in the Basque Country, which was then an unknown part of Spain. To make it even easier for you to see what’s so great, here’s our insider guide on What to See & Do in Northern Spain.

Best Plazas in Spain – 12 Spectacular Squares
If there’s one place we recommend our clients visit in every Spanish town, it’s the main square or plaza, often called the Plaza Mayor. Traditionally it’s where bullfights took place and it was often the location for outdoor foodmarkets and theatres too. Today it’s all about the café tables, the buzz, the people and the activities in the square.
